Russian forces attacked Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast on the night of Jan. 27, targeting a ceramic workshop with a missile, resulting in near-total destruction, the city’s mayor, Vadym Lyakh, reported on Facebook the same day.

Sloviansk was attacked with an Iskander ballistic missile, according to the General Staff.

As a result of the attack, nearby apartment buildings and a kindergarten, which houses a social cafeteria, were affected.

“Windows are shattered. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” wrote Lyakh.

According to the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, on Jan. 26, Russia killed two residents of the region — in Serebrianka and Krasnohorivka, while another person in the Donetsk region was injured.
