The sky in Greeley, Colorado, was orange on September 7 as the nearby Cameron Peak wildfire raged.
The fire has nearly tripled in size since Sunday and had burned more than 102,000 acres as of Tuesday, September 8, according to local authorities.
Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith told local media, “We’ve seen tremendous growth” and said that the fire “made a 10-mile run in a day or two.”
