A snow squall hit skiers and snowboarders riding at Brighton Resort in northern Utah on Monday night, December 27.
Ryan Oliverson said he filmed this video at the top of the Snake Creek ski lift as the squall moved through.
Oliverson said he received an alert on his phone shortly before the squall hit. On Tuesday, the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City on Tuesday tweeted about the squall alerts, noting that they were “relatively new type of warning for the western United States.”
