Skaters Pulled From Lake After Ice Collapses in The Hague

Witnesses, police, and firefighters helped pull dozens of ice skaters from a small lake in The Hague, Netherlands, after the ice they were on collapsed on Friday, February 12.

AD.nl reported that many had to be rescued from an island in the Hofvijver by the fire service, while others were helped from the lake by onlookers and police.

Officials told AD.nl that between 10 to 15 people were rescued from the island.
