“After nearly four years in Bangkok, I have gained insights into this region's thriving businesses, particularly in retail, branding, culinary and lifestyle ventures,” said Ng, a Malaysian now based in Thailand.
“This experience has ignited countless ideas to enhance lifestyle experiences back in my beloved Malaysia," he added.
“This time, we are taking it a step further by inviting six master chefs, including Michelin-starred culinary virtuosos, to showcase their talents.”
According to Ng, Sushi Summit transcends the realm of a mere meal; it represents a celebration of culinary artistry.
Sushi masters from Osaka, Tokyo, Bangkok and KL will unite to present Japanese culinary excellence over three days. The chefs are: Michelin-starred Chef Yuya Nishimura, Chef Makoto Saito Sam, Chef Kenjiro 'Hatch' Hashida, Chef Hasegawa, Chef Shimpei Hatanaka and Chef Shou Emi.

This gathering promises an exploration of the chefs' legacies as they elevate the sushi experience, inviting guests to savour results of their mastery.
“As a proud Malaysian, I am genuinely thrilled to redefine our country's culinary landscape and showcase it to the world.
“Our diverse food heritage deserves global recognition, and Sushi Summit provides the perfect stage for us to achieve that,” said Ng, who intends to go global.
Following KL, Sushi Summit is set to travel to Dubai in November, followed by Hong Kong and Macau, and Cambodia in 2024.
