Siti Nurhaliza welcomes second child and first son

19 Apr – Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza has finally given birth to her second child.

The news was shared in a statement by Siti Nurhaliza Productions, which read, "On Monday, 19 April 2021 - equivalent to 7 Ramadan 1442H - Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza gave birth to a baby boy at a medical center in Selangor, at 6.21 am. The baby weighing 3.84 kilograms was born through surgery. Siti and the baby are in good condition and healthy."

The statement also added that husband Dato 'Sri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa was grateful that both the mother and child are safe and that the birth process has gone smoothly.

"He and his wife would like to express their gratitude and thanks for the prayers of family, relatives, friends, fans, media and the public. In addition, they would also like to thank the doctors and nurses led by Dr. Leong Wai Yew from Alpha IVF & Women's Specialist who have carried out the best responsibilities and services throughout Siti's delivery process. The couple also thanked the Founder and Director of Alpha IVF & Women's Specialists, Dato 'Dr. Colin Lee Soon Soo, who successfully completed the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) program for Siti's first child, Siti Aafiyah and her second child as well," the statement added.

Siti also shared a snippet of her newborn in a video that she shared on Instagram on 19 April, and revealed on Instagram Story that she has started on her confinement.
