Siti Nurhaliza postpones solo concert to next year
17 May –Siti Nurhaliza recently revealed that she has decided to delay her plans to hold a solo concert this year.
The legendary singer, who recently performed at the Satu Suara Vol.3 concert, told Utusan that the decision was made after thinking about her fans, who have already forked out money to attend the previously held show.
"I felt sorry for them and I have to be fair to them too. God willing, the solo concert will be held next year," she said.
The postponement, said Siti, will also enable her to prepare herself more fully and think of a more fantastic theme for it.
"Furthermore, I am also in the midst of recording my new album. I should release it first, so then I can sing the songs from the album at the concert next year," she added.
As for the said album, Siti stated that she has completed the recordings of seven songs out of 12 despite the fact that her voice has yet to fully recover from a prolonged sore throat.
