British star Samantha Fox was reportedly arrested for allegedly causing a drunken disturbance on a flight ahead of take off.
According to The Sun, the singer/model, 56, was kicked off a British Airways flight after allegedly getting in a dispute with another passenger, leading to her arrest.
The performer, who rose to fame in the ‘80s, reportedly spent one night in jail.
Authorities told the outlet that they arrested a woman in her 50s “on suspicion of being drunk on board an aircraft.”
The Sun reports that the plane, which was scheduled to fly from London’s Heathrow Airport to Munich, Germany, turned around on the jetway and returned to the gate, due to the incident. Passengers are said to have de-boarded the aircraft and spent the night in a hotel before they were able to take the postponed flight the next day.
PEOPLE reached out to reps for Fox, who offered no further comment.
Before Fox rose to fame with her music career, she garnered attention and a fanbase in the U.K. by posing as a Page 3 girl in The Sun. Following a successful modeling career with the tabloid, which ran from 1983 to 1986, she shifted her focus to music.
The pop artist released her debut album Touch Me in 1986, which featured the international hit single "Touch Me (I Want Your Body).”
Since then, she’s released a total of six studio albums.

Fox has continued to tour over the years. The hitmaker recently wrapped up 2023 by playing a series of dates across Europe, including shows in Germany, Hungary and Portugal.
