Singaporean esports organisation BLEED Esports announced on Thursday (26 January) that they have partnered with Canadian organisation Disguised to field a new VALORANT roster in the Singapore and Malaysia region, which will include some of the former BLEED VALORANT players.

Disguised, an organisation founded by Canadian streamer Jeremy "Disguised Toast" Wang, previously competed in North America but found little success there.

BLEED notably earned a two-year stint in the 2024 and 2025 VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific Leagues after the team won VCT 2023: Ascension Pacific last July. With its new partnership with Disguised, BLEED said in a press release that they "[aim] to break into the VCT Pacifics" scene.

While there has been no official roster reveal yet, the team is expected to at least include American player Jaccob "yay" Whitaker, who joined BLEED last September and was featured prominently in the video announcing the partnership.

The other former BLEED players who could still retain their positions within the team include Singaporean players Derrick "Deryeon" Yee and Javier "Egoist" Chua, Vietnamese player Ngô "crazyguy" Công Anh, and Thai player Nutchaphon "sScary" Matarat.

Disguised's new partnership with BLEED will also mark a 'homecoming' for its founder, who was born in Taiwan, grew up in Malaysia, and frequently visited Singapore as a child.

“One of my goals with DSG is to build it into a global brand, and I’ve always wanted to expand to the Asia region. I lived in Malaysia from age 1 to 13 and haven’t visited since, so I’m excited to make a return,” said Disguised Toast.

“A huge thank you to BLEED for supporting us through this whole process and helping us build a roster. Fans can expect DSG to be visiting the SEA region this year.”

“As the Ascension team for VCT Pacific, it’s important to us to remember where we started. To keep supporting Challengers and Malaysia/Singapore through VALORANT, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Disguised’s expansion into Asia. More details on our joint initiatives will be revealed soon, where our priority is the fans and growing our community,” added BLEED COO Ian Huston.

As part of their collaboration, BLEED and DSG plan to host watch parties and events in order to "foster a sense of community and providing fans with unique experiences".

The two organisations also aim to expand each other's influence in their respective home marks in Asia and North America.
