Singapore, NZ to join on green economy, supply chain

STORY: In a joint news conference, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said there were opportunities for collaboration between the two countries when it came to adopting low carbon and green technologies.

Ardern said officials of the two countries would also begin work on a supply chain dialogue to "support increased supply chain cooperation", adding that she had also discussed supply chain and food security issues with Lee during the height of the pandemic.

Ardern was welcomed by a guard of honor at the Istana – the office of the Singapore Prime Minister. Her three-day visit will also include a meeting with the president and having an orchid named after her.
