‘The Simpsons’ to celebrate Christmas with Andrea Bocelli's family in TV special

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 — What would be the perfect Christmas gift to a loved one?

Stylish clothes? A brand new phone? A good book?

How about a personal performance by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and his family?

The Simpsons will usher in festive cheer with the Bocellis in a new short, Feliz Navidad, screening on Disney+ Hotstar on December 15.

In the short, Homer surprises Marge with a performance of Feliz Navidad from Andrea and his children Matteo and Virginia Bocelli. The track is straight off their new album, A Family Christmas.

As a television series, The Simpsons is also celebrating 33 years since the airing of its first episode in 1989 on December 17.

All 33 seasons are currently available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.

Andrea Bocelli’s children have been rising stars in the classical music scene, with 25-year-old Matteo following in his father's footsteps as a tenor.

The father and son duo released Fall on Me in 2016 which was featured in the 2018 Disney film, The Nutcracker and The Four Realms.

Virginia, 10, also performed with her father on songs Hallelujah and Ich Liebe Dich while Amos, 27, is a prominent musician and pianist.
