Shuib Sepahtu perplexed by romance rumours
19 Jan – Comedian-turned-businessman Shuib recently admitted that he was perplexed as to why he is being romantically linked to one female celebrity after another, barely five months following the death of his wife of ten years, singer Siti Sarah.
The actor, who has been rumoured with the likes of singer Siti Nordiana, Heliza Helmi's sister and singer Hazwani, and even infamous celebrity entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida, stated that he felt "like a Lego brick", being attached to one person over the other.
"I don't know how [all these rumours] came to be. We only met twice in an entertainment show. I don't even have her phone number," he said about Siti Nordiana.
As for Hazwani, Shuib said that he has never even met her.
When the name of Datuk Seri Vida was mentioned, Shuib said that the two of them have been friends even before wife Siti Sarah passed away last year, as they collaborated in a business together.
"We're not compatible. She is an influential person while I am just looking for someone who can take care of my children since they are still kids," he said.
It is noted that the said entrepreneur previously stated in an interview that she would not say no to Shuib if they are fated to be together, as the comedian has all the criteria of what she's looking for in a man.
Siti Sarah passed away in August last year following complications due to COVID-19. She gave birth to her fourth child a few days prior to her passing.
