Shuib denies getting married in March

1 Dec - Comedian and radio presenter Shuib has dismissed rumours that he will be wed anew with businesswoman Watie Hanifiah soon.

The comedian, who spoke to the media about the rumour, stated that he was asked about it by fellow presenter Ajak, who told him that he met a caterer who alleged that Shuib has ordered food for his upcoming wedding.

"I told Ajak that he will be the first to receive an invitation if I really am getting married. I mean, he was also among the first I told to about Watie," he said.

Shuib stated that any rumour about him meeting a caterer or a tailor would be false, and that he has no plans to get married in March next year as reported.

"I think that is still a long way to go. I still have to see if my kids can get along with her. But praise be to God, our relationship is doing well and my family likes her," he added.

It was last month that Shuib acknowledged to getting to know the female entrepreneur, whom he and his late wife Siti Sarah have known for a while.

Wife of ten years and singer Siti Sarah passed away in August last year from complications due to COVID-19. She gave birth to their fourth child a few days prior to her passing.
