A shopping mall was evacuated in Canberra on Wednesday, January 4, as heavy rain prompted flooding, local media reported.

Video filmed by Vanessa Shaw showing people leaving Canberra Centre as water pools on the floor.

Other footage showed water pouring down from the ceiling.
