When you pay a visit to the popular home emporium Bed, Bath & Beyond, you can reliably find virtually everything under the sun for your pad— storage, linens, vacuums, and (of course) snacks. The retailer unveiled a new home concept this week, Studio 3B, to bring an approachable and affordable collection of contemporary and midcentury modern decor to help customers, in the company’s words, “Home, Happier.” To mark the occasion, Bed, Bath & Beyond teamed up with TV personality and interior designer Jeremiah Brent to style a showroom with items from the line to emulate a chic New York apartment.

Brent gave us a (virtual) tour of the cozy space, which features Studio 3B bedding, decorative accessories, accent furniture, and more. For the designer, it’s proof that you can make your space look stylish on a budget.

Affordable is a really dirty word for me because for so long it meant transactional, but that’s not the case anymore,” he says. “You don’t have to spend a ton of money to tell a story and express yourself creatively. So hopefully, with these pieces, people have the freedom and the versatility and the opportunity to tell their story.”

The collection features mostly neutral and autumnal tones sprinkled with some pastels and a mixture of textures, all of which can look great in just about any setting, such as a brass clock with a leather strap and a selection of tabletop items, which Brent highlighted in a sophisticated tablescape. “I love the ceremony of coming together. Whether it’s dinner or breakfast, we always set the table at our house—we’re old school queens that way,” the designer jokes. “But it’s important to us, and I think it’s a really great way to curate for dinner parties or whatever the occasion it is.”

Versatility is a huge theme in the Studio 3B collection, Brent points out. An elegant gray vanity, for example, features a fold-down mirror to hide your belongings and to serve as a writing desk. Bonus: It comes with a matching stool.

Brent has plenty of other favorites, like a handsome full-size arched mirror and a collection of luxe home fragrances—the perfect elements to tie a room together. “When we talk about that ceremony of creating moments in your home, the scent, for me, is the final frontier,” he says.
