Shirtless England Fan Takes a Tumble High in Stands Ahead of Wembley Win

One England fan became a little too enthusiastic for his own good ahead of his team’s Euro 2020 semifinal against Denmark on July 7, toppling over a row of seats high up in the stands at Wembley as he danced shirtless.

Ronan Graven caught the comical moment on camera, turning his lens around to record his own disbelief too. Much like England, however, the fan bounced back – clapping and waving his shirt at the next chorus of the 90s dance anthem Freed From Desire.

England went on to beat Denmark 2-1, putting them through to their first final at a major tournament since 1996.

The game was watched by a crowd of 65,000, the highest at any UK football ground since the beginning of the pandemic.
