Shila Amzah and Ubai to marry in August

20 Jul – Shila Amzah and Ubai are set to tie the knot in August.

This was revealed by the singer, who then stated that the actual date will only be revealed later on, after her future mother-in-law completes further treatment from a complication of post-ovarian cancer.

"Seventy percent of the preparation is done... but I will only share the actual date after Ubai's mother is discharged from hospital," she said.

As for now, Shila will focus on her upcoming performance, as she has been invited to perform at Indonesian singer Judika's show, "Rockmantic Night - Judika and the Gang" on 21 October at Axiata Arena.

"I don't want to get too excited talking about the wedding when Ubai's mother is still in treatment. She wants to be there at the wedding," she added.

Shila and Ubai announced their engagement back in May, a few months after confirming their relationship.

This will be Shila's second marriage, following her divorce from husband Haris Idraki Elias.
