Sheriff's Deputy Gives Driver a Push Uphill in Snowy Oregon

A deputy used their vehicle’s push bumper to help a pickup truck driver crest a hill in Fairview, Oregon, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said, after snow created slippery driving conditions.

Footage from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office shows a truck being pushed up a hill on 223rd Avenue in Fairview. “The truck was in danger of sliding down the hill and colliding with a number of cars below,” the sheriff’s office said.

Multnomah County issued a state of emergency on Wednesday in preparation for the severe weather.

The NWS issued a winter weather advisory until 7 pm on Thursday, with up to 12 inches of snow expected above 3,000 feet. Credit: Multnomah Co. Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
