Shepherdess Amanda Owen leads procession of sheep over Southwark Bridge

TV Shepherdess Amanda Owen was leading a procession of sheep over Southwark Bridge on Sunday (September 26) in a celebration of the importance of wool and to raise money for charity. The ritual symbolises the right of the freemen of the City of London to drive sheep into the City. The annual event is organised by the Worshipful Company of Woolmen and previous leaders of the procession have been TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh and former politician Michael Portillo.
