Shawn Yue happy to see daughter healthy and happy
6 Aug – More than half a year since his daughter was born prematurely, Shawn Yue recently took to social media to express his thoughts about the birth.
On 4 August, the actor shared for the first time the photo of baby Celeste, who was born at 28 weeks and weighed only 1kg, writing, "I still remember the first time I saw you when you were born, and my tears as a father fell."
"I worried about you and felt the pain for you... I thought that if I could suffer for you, I would exchange it directly with you. Until today, whenever I look at you and see how happy and healthy you look, dad is really happy and comforted," he added.
Back in December last year, Shawn's wife Sarah Wang revealed that they kept quiet about the birth of their second child and first daughter as the baby was still in the danger zone due to her premature birth.
Sarah stated that she had been in the hospital even before she gave birth and was encouraged to at least keep the pregnancy to 28 weeks to ensure her baby's survival.
"When I saw how many tubes were attached to her tiny body, I felt such heartache. I did not protect her well. Why does she have to suffer so much," she wrote.
