Sharp rolls out flood relief programme to help affected customers in Johor
KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 — In 2021, Sharp lent a helping hand with nationwide Sharp Cares Flood Relief Programme when Malaysia was drenched in the worst flood in the past 50 years.
When Johor was badly affected by the flood this past month, Sharp has again rolled out Sharp Cares Flood Relief Programme 2.0 to help affected customers in Johor.
There are two parts to Sharp Cares Flood Relief Programme 2.0. First, there is free inspection on all Sharp products that are affected by the flood and secondly, up to 50 per cent repair discount for all affected Sharp products which has passed their warranty period.
“At Sharp, support from our customers is something worth celebrating as part of our 111th Anniversary,” said Sharp Malaysia Managing Director Ting Yang Chung.
“Hence we always believe that we must give back to our customers, especially at this point of time that they are in need of extra help and care, which is the reason we have crafted Sharp Cares Flood Relief Programme.
“That’s because we care for you — our customers and we also care for the performance of our products,” Ting added.
