"I wanted to share I've tested positive for Covid 19," she wrote, confirming that her US talk show The Talk is on a break that had previously been scheduled.
"After a brief hospitalization, I'm now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy," she added.
The Talk's official account responded to the message to send well wishes.
"Wishing you a speedy recovery, Mrs. O, we love you," the message read.
Sharon is the second of the panellists on The Talk to test positive for coronavirus.
In a video posted to Instagram, Carrie Ann wrote that she has "been in a very safe environment following all the guidelines and safety protocols and it still found its way to me.
"So, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season."
