She continues, “For the past five years, I’ve been privileged to have a home in this loving, tight-knit community. It’s a place where kindness thrives, friendships are cherished, and neighbors become family.”

“My heart breaks again and again as I see these incredible people who built their lives here for decades, many of them seniors who poured their hearts and life-savings into their trailers, left with absolutely nothing.”

She notes the link in her bio to a GoFundMe that she set up to help her neighbors rebuild their lives amid the tragedy.

“Funds raised will be distributed by our dedicated tenant group to help those most in need cover immediate essentials like food, clothing, and shelter as they take the first steps towards rebuilding their lives,” she adds. “My heart goes out to all those displaced, and my deepest thanks to the brave first responders working tirelessly to keep people safe.”

Corcoran previously gave a video tour of her mobile home to viral TikTok creator Caleb Simpson in July 2023. She referred to it as her “Taj Mahal” where “everything’s little” during the clip.

On Jan. 9, Simpson took to his Instagram Stories to bring awareness to the current wildfires and highlight Corcoran’s GoFundMe.

“Last year I toured Barbara Corcoran’s home in the Pacific Palisades and she just messaged me telling me that it burned down. My heart goes out to her and everyone whose homes literally just vanished before their eyes,” he said in the video, and included a link to the GoFundMe.

While millionaires living in mobile homes might not be typical elsewhere, it's not uncommon for stars to own them in Malibu. In addition to Corcoran, celebrities like Minnie Driver, Camille Grammer, Sarah Paulson, Matthew McConaughey, Pamela Anderson and Betsey Johnson have all owned mobile homes in the area.
