Sharifah Amani welcomes baby boy Ahmed Mohsein

1 Jul - Sharifah Amani and husband Ahmed Faris have recently welcomed their first child, and the name given has truly had fans feeling nostalgic.

On 29 June, the couple posted a photo of them with their newborn, with Faris writing, "Assalamualaikum, please meet our little one Ahmed Mohsein bin Ahmed Faris, born on 26 June 2024."

"Alhamdulillah, mom and baby are doing well, thank you all for your prayers," he added.

Many took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including Syafie Naswip, the star of Yasmin Ahmad's film, "Mukhsin", writing, "Hi Mohsen Junior."

Other celebrities who congratulated the couple included Daiyan Trisha, Iedil Putra, Syukri Yahya, Farah Fauzana and Susan Lankester, the latter who posted, "OMG. Congratulations on your little bundle of joy & a Cancerian. He's giving to love you both so much. Well done."
