Shannen Doherty and Ex Rick Salomon Joke About Their Short-Lived Marriage: ‘That Was Wild’

"I just looked it up. I would never have any idea otherwise," the 'Charmed' alum said of their brief romance

Shannen Doherty and her ex-husband Rick Salomon have reunited — for her podcast!

On Monday, May 6, the actress, 53, released a new episode of her Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty podcast featuring a short-lived former flame. For the show titled, “Let's Talk Love, Sobriety, and Family....with Rick Salomon,” the two discussed their brief romance.

“I think we got married in 2002, January. I just looked it up. I would never have any idea otherwise,” Doherty said during the episode. “And we got annulled in May 2003. So technically we don’t have to call each other ex-wife and ex-husband because we got annulled, but we still do.”

The Charmed alum recalled that she and Salomon, 56, who later became known for his 2004 sex tape with Paris Hilton, “got married super fast” — so much so that they each needed a moment to figure out their whirlwind love story.

“Three weeks?” he asked.

Doherty replied, “Was it only three weeks? No. It was longer than that. No way.”

According to the Beverly Hills, 90210 star, many moons ago after she and Salomon had a car ride conversation, they decided to get married to one another.

“And so we did. We went to Vegas. And I had a witness, you had a witness. And then I said to you, ‘I can’t be married without my dad being there and my mom.’ And you’re like, ‘If we’re going to do this, we’re going to do this right now,’ ” Doherty said.

Although neither of her parents attended, the former couple still went through with their vows.

“That was wild. Like was it normal for you? It felt weird to me,” she added, reflecting on their time together.

Salomon’s 25-year-old daughter, Tyson, whom he shares with famed voice actress E.G. Daily, was also present for the podcast.

At the start of the show, Doherty referred to Tyson as “one of my stepdaughters.”

According to Tyson, her high-stakes poker-playing father believes certain situations can be “bad luck” if they’re not done “then and there.”

The former flames also opened up about their thoughts on why the relationship fizzled, with Doherty noting his “drug thing back then.”

“Girls always wanted the bad boy until they met me,” Salomon, who also had a one-year marriage to Pamela Anderson, joked.

While Doherty admitted that she’s “always loved” her ex, it’s not the first time she’s had one on her show.

During an April 15 episode of her podcast, she was joined by her ex-fiancé, director, writer, and producer Rob Weiss.

The pair got engaged in 1995 before calling things off in 1998.

She and Weiss had a friendly rapport throughout their podcast conversation, which involved them talking about Doherty wanting a tattoo as a tribute to her late father John Thomas Doherty Jr., who died in 2010.

However, the actress prioritized her health instead, explaining, “I can’t get infections.”

Shannen currently has Stage 4 breast cancer after she was initially diagnosed in 2015 and had a mastectomy. She also underwent chemotherapy and radiation. The cancer has since spread to her bones.
