Shaina Magdayao reveals she is in "Almost Paradise"

10 Nov – Shaina Magdayao recently revealed that she is currently working on her first international series, "Almost Paradise".

The actress shared the news on social media on her 33rd birthday with a photo of her standing next to a door, of what appears to be a dressing room, with the name "Maria Manalo" on it, writing, "Planned to go to #Paradise for my annual #birthday escape... but as always, life has a different plan."

"First time ever to work instead of taking a birthday leave. But I'm definitely not complaining because I still have been waking up in #Paradise for the past few days!" she added.

Shaina also revealed that it's been six days since she started filming the drama in Cebu and that she can't wait to tell fans more about her experience working in her first international series.

"Almost Paradise", which is an American-Filipino crime drama, is now in its second season. It stars Christian Kane as Alex Walker, a former DEA agent who finds himself being lured back to work due to the criminal element in the island of Cebu where he decided to enjoy his retirement.
