Shaheizy Sam elated to see Bell Ngasri win at ABPBH
25 Jul – Shaheizy Sam recently expressed his elation that his former co-star Bell Ngasri finally won the same accolade he received three times, which is the Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian's Most Popular Star.
Speaking about Bell's victory on the ABPBH 35 podcast earlier, the actor stated that Bell is deserving of the award.
"While we collaborated in [the telefilm] "Pa'e", I saw how talented he was. At the time, Bell made a really big impact in the acting world, and to some extent, he inspired me to be a good actor," he said.
Sam continued, "So when Uncle Harun [Hashim] and I watch Bell go up on stage to receive the award, we thought it was something worthwhile."
The actor, who also won similar accolade at the 24th, 25th, and 28th edition of the awards, believed that this will open more doors for Bell in the future.
"I pray that Bell will continue to find success. Keep fighting because without Bell realising it, he has inspired many entertainers in Malaysia," he said.
