Severe Storms Capable of Producing Large Hail and Tornadoes Hit Alabama

A line of severe and isolated storms capable of producing over 70mph winds, large hail and tornadoes hit coastal areas of Alabama on April 10, the National Weather Service said.

The NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 5am local time, and said hail the size of quarters could fall during the storm.
