Several people were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, local media said early on November 9, after what the New York Fire Department said was an “all hands” fire broke out at an under-construction building in Brooklyn.
Twelve units and 60 personnel responded to the scene, Pix11 said.
Footage by Twitter user @pac_racing shows workers in hardhats still inside the building as smoke billows out. “It’s like people trapped in there,” he says. A later clip shows firefighters at the scene and some people being evacuated.
