Arizona residents experienced a variety of weather conditions across the state on Friday, November 29, including flooding, a tornado warning, and snow.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for multiple cities near Phoenix, forecasting pea-sized hail and strong winds. Various flood advisories also went into effect on Friday.
A winter storm warning was issued for areas above 4,500 feet near Prescott as “heavy” snow fell in the region. The NWS projected five to eight inches of snow, with higher elevations seeing up to 19 inches.
