Several Feet of Snow Pile Up Near Binghamton, New York

More than three feet of snow piled up near Binghamton, New York, by Thursday, December 17, after a winter storm swept the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Joseph Champaign said this footage shows “incredible snowfall amounts” accumulating in Endwell, a community located near Binghamton. The National Weather Service (NWS) reported 37 inches of snowfall in Endwell and more than 40 inches of snow in Binghamton by Thursday morning.

Champaign, a meteorology student at State University of New York at Oswego, said his footage also shows his father leaving for work at around 2:30 am to plow snow.
