Like mother, like daughter.

Grand Slam–winning tennis player Serena Williams recently shared a photo to Instagram of her three-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., perfecting her swing on the tennis court.

In the adorable picture, Olympia—whom Williams shares with Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian—is decked out in a black-and-white abstract-patterned sweatshirt and skirt, as well as a pair of white tennis shoes. Mid-swing, the little one can be seen with her racket (that's more than half her size!) pulled back, awaiting with determination the green tennis ball that's approaching. Williams is also in the photograph, watching Olympia train in the background.

"Turn, back, reach, head, follow through," Williams wrote in the caption.

The tennis champion previously opened up about signing her daughter up for tennis lessons at a young age. In October last year, Williams said in a video she posted to her Instagram Story, "Guys, I signed Olympia up for tennis lessons. Don't even start with me, because I'm not giving her tennis lessons; I signed her up for some. But the lady has no idea that it's my daughter, so we'll see how that goes."

She added, "I'm not a pushy mom, but I know how I like techniques, so I'm gonna make sure she's good at teaching Olympia some techniques."

To prepare the young Olympia, Williams also made her watch a tennis match before her lesson, in which she broke down the moves play-by-play. "See that open stance?" she's heard telling Olympia in the video.
