Selena Lee says Linda Chung offered her home to her

27 Mar – Selena Lee recently admitted that she actually received an offer from fellow former TVB actress Linda Chung to stay with her when she was stranded in Canada following the temporary shutdown of her TV series due to COVID-19.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at the Hong Kong International Airport recently, shared that she was contacted by Linda - who resides in Vancouver - upon telling her followers on social media that she was stuck in the country when "Blood & Water" stopped filming.

"I was very grateful for her kindness, but I was worried that I might affect the children, so I declined. This is the time where you actually experience the kindness of others," she added.

Selena also revealed that her group of pals in Hong Kong were also worried about her, with Myolie Wu offering to try and charter a plane to bring her home to Hong Kong.

"They were so concerned about me. I feel so happy," she added.

On the other hand, Selena stated that she experienced no racism relating to the pandemic while in Canada, unlike her fellow colleagues in the United States like Adrienne Lau and Anita Chui.

"Canadians are nice. They did not discriminate against Chinese or treat them with impoliteness," she added.
