On Wednesday, the “Single Soon” singer, 31, shared new snaps on her Instagram Story following her recent break from social media.

The actress' social media update comes after she revealed on Oct. 31 that she would be stepping away from her social media due to the “horror, hate and Violence” in the world.

“People being tortured and killed or any act of hate towards any one group is horrific," she added on her Instagram Story at the time. She then went on to say that "ALL people” need to be protected, “especially children,” and that "violence needs to be stopped for good."

"I'm sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag," Gomez continued. "I just can't stand by innocent people getting hurt. That's what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won't."

She signed off the message with, "Love, Selena."

It's not the first Gomez has taken a break from social media. The Rare Beauty founder also stepped away from the platforms in February of this year.

That same month, she opened up about her relationship with social media in an interview with Vanity Fair.

"People can call me ugly or stupid and I'm like, whatever. But these people get detailed," she said of the negative comments she receives on Instagram. "They write paragraphs that are so specific and mean. I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety…I couldn't do it anymore. It was a waste of my time."

She added, "The only thing I have on my phone is TikTok because I find it to be a little less hostile. There are wonderful things about social media — connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories. But usually that's filtered through [for me now]. I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging."
