You need to see Rihanna's new Xtreme mullet
The Mullet, aka: the defining haircut of 2020 (at least something good came out of this year, huh?)
We've never been more tempted to let our mums at us with the kitchen scissors, since the likes of Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish and Maisie Williams all went for the shaggy chop. Miley did it to align her look with her new rock-inspired music (great idea), Billie's was a rather scary (but happy) accident, and Maisie's was... well, just Maisie, really.
And next to jump on the band-hair bandwagon (although she has "rocked" the look previously), was Queen of Cool, Rihanna. She first experimented with the look back in 2013 at NYFW, where she teamed a short-cropped fringe with long extensions down the back of her head, and looked bloody incredible. Flash forward seven years, and she's at it again (please stop encouraging us, celebrities!)
The singer posted a teaser video on Instagram for her new lingerie show, and although you only catch a glimpse of her walking down a corridor at the beginning, a dramatic new haircut can clearly be seen.
The video is promoting her upcoming Savage x Fenty lingerie show (airing on Amazon Prime Video on 2 October), and she captioned the post: "Who ready?!!? #SAVAGEXFENTYSHOW VOL. ✌🏿10.02.20 #SAVAGENOTSORRY @savagexfenty @amazonprimevideo @amazonfashion"
Well, we'll definitely be tuning in if it means we get a close-up of THOSE shaved sides and long, down-the-back layers...
