Wake up, beauties, it's the 2024 Met Gala.

The most fashion-y night of the year is once again upon us, on this first Monday in May. Ostensibly to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, the annual gala is really just an excuse for the famous and famous-adjacent to stunt in haute couture.

This year's dress code is "The Garden of Time," inspired by J.G. Ballard's short story of the same name, and in honor of the Costume Institute's new exhibit, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.

Hopefully, enough guests got the memo so that these lewks won't be putting us to sleep. But with co-chairs Anna Wintour, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth for some reason, perennial style icon Jennifer Lopez, and undefeated red carpet champ Zendaya, we're in (mostly) good hands.
