Bella Hadid Just Took Her Mom, Yolanda, to Vote for the Very First Time

From Harper's BAZAAR

Just like that, it's time to hit the polls again.

The return of an election season always brings forth a tried and true trio of events that prelude that Tuesday in November: nationwide anxiety, a never-ending news cycle, and a wave of familiar "I Voted!" selfies. Because did you even really vote if you didn't post about it on Instagram?

Due to this year's high-stakes election and the concerns around in-person voting amid the coronavirus pandemic, celebrities and high-profile figures have been more vocal than ever about the importance of being ready and registered to vote—and voting early if you can.

Though we, too, love to indulge in a post-voting booth snap or mailbox drop-off selfie, remember that the rules on capturing and posting photos of your ballot differs from state to state. In some places, posting ballot selfies is illegal. (This handy roundup here lists where each state lands on the policy.) In California, it's perfectly legal to photograph yourself performing your civic duty, hence the series of celebrity images—ranging from Zendaya to Zoë Kravitz to Tracee Ellis Ross and more—that we've rounded up below.
