Whitney Leavitt wants to live honestly and has her husband Conner's support.

In an episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the influencer sits down with Conner to talk about being honest with her friends about strains in their marriage.

The conversation quickly turns emotional, as Conner opens up about his struggles with porn consumption — an issue Whitney hid from her castmates as they dealt with the fallout of the "soft swinging" sex scandal that catapulted them to the TikTok spotlight.

"It's probably hard for you to lie about that," he acknowledges to his wife in the episode.

“I just think that at the time, I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t know what I wanted," Whitney explains.

Conner tears up as he tells his wife, "I just hate talking about what happened to me in the same breath as what I did to you."

"I feel like it flips the script and turns me into a victim when, in this scenario, I'm not," he continues. "And I definitely want there to be a distinction. These are actions I took."

He adds: "I had a real problem and it turned into something that really hurt my wife and I’m so sorry. I’m working on myself. But yeah, I’ve reached a point where I really don’t care what anybody outside my inner circle thinks.”

"Once it gets out, it's going to be the elephant in the room whenever we go to church," he says through tears.

Whitney explains that they've lied about his porn addiction because the behavior breaks a covenant with God. "When you go through the temple and make those covenants, make those promises with God, the sin is more serious," she says in a confessional.

In their conversation, Whitney tells Conner, "I'm a little nervous about what they're going to think," speaking of her castmates.

"I don't know if they're going to hate you or hate me for making the choice to stay with you," she says, taking a deep breath. "It's a pretty deep wound. I want to tell them now."

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is now streaming on Hulu.
