Second Time's a Charm for Eagle Fishing in Scottsdale Lake
A park lake in Scottsdale, Arizona, proved a successful fishing ground for a bald eagle recently, with video showing the bird swooping down to grab a snack from the water.
Footage provided by Thomas Lancione shows the eagle soaring over Chaparral Park before swooping down to grab a fish at its second attempt.
“Second time was the charm,” Lancione told Storyful. “The fish was small so the eagle transferred it on the fly from its talons to its beak,” he said. Credit: Thomas Lancione via Storyful
