Seattle Police Make Arrests as Protestors Mark Breonna Taylor Anniversary

Police in Seattle, Washington, arrested 13 people on Saturday, March 13, as protestors gathered to mark the one year anniversary of Breonna Taylor’s death.

Social media posts indicated a march was planned in protest of the killing of Taylor one year ago by police in Louisville, Kentucky, reports said.

Seattle Police Department said they made multiple arrests in the 200 block of Columbia Street after the crowd had moved construction signs and other objects into the street to block traffic.

Police made additional arrests in the 200 block of Cherry Street. Police also shared photos of a Starbucks store at Second Avenue and Lenora Street with smashed windows and graffiti.
