Late-Season Snow Coats Northeastern Maine
Snow lowered visibility and made travel dangerous in northern Maine as a storm threatened accumulations as high as five inches on Thursday, April 28, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
James Sinko said he filmed this footage Thursday morning as he drove along Castle Hill Road in Washburn, in northeastern Aroostook County.
A winter weather advisory was in effect for the area until Friday morning.
The NWS said it received reports of vehicle accidents in Aroostook County “potentially due to road conditions.” Credit: Meteorologist James Sinko via Storyful
