Search Ends After Cambodia Casino Fire Kills at Least 26 People

The search operation following a deadly fire at a Cambodian hotel and casino came to an end on Friday, December 30, as the death toll rose to 26, according to Cambodian outlet Fresh News, citing the provincial governor.

Hundreds of people were reported to have been trapped as the blaze ripped through the Grand Diamond City hotel and casino, located in Poipet on Cambodia’s western border with Thailand, late on Wednesday.
