Search Continues in Florida for Person of Interest in Gabby Petito Disappearance
Florida authorities continued the search for Brian Laundrie, a person of interest in the disappearance of Gabby Petito, on land and by air in the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County on September 21.
Video shared by the North Port Police Department captured scenes throughout Tuesday’s search of the nature preserve.
The FBI joined the search for Laundrie after authorities confirmed on September 19 that a body had been found “consistent with the description” of Petito in the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming.
Petito was first reported missing on September 11, 10 days after Laundrie returned home from their cross-country road trip without her. Laundrie has not been seen since September 13, according to reports. Credit: North Port Police Department via Storyful
