Schools Shut as Winter Storm Dumps Piles of Snow in Minneapolis–Saint Paul Metro Area

Public schools in the Minneapolis suburb of Minnetonka were shut or moved to remote learning as winter weather caused difficult travel conditions in Minnesota’s Twin Cities on Thursday, February 23.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said 13.1 inches of snow had fallen in the area since Tuesday.
