STORY: CCTV footage uploaded on social media by the Nicholas County Board of Education shows James Marsh, head of the Zela Elementary School in Summersville failing to open the bin and walking away from it when the bear emerged like a Jack-in-the-box, apparently scaring both of them equally.

The bear ran one way and Marsh ran the other. Both man and beast seemed to emerge from the incident unscathed.
