(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) SAFARI VISITOR, MOHAMMED AL-FAGI, SAYING:

"Honestly, it was a very beautiful experience with the family. We saw animals that are rare to find like the liger, animals you don't see except in Africa, also with the tour guides who help us. Me and my family are very happy for having this kind of opportunity."

Tickets cost $40 per person

A private jeep costs around $266

(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) SAFARI VISITOR, MUJAHD ALAMEERY, SAYING:

"We are not used to this in Saudi Arabia, we are more familiar with small zoos with animals in cages as we walk around them, but today it's the opposite. It's amazing and everyone is happy, we didn't expect to experience the African atmosphere here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia."
