Satellite Timelapse Shows Storms Moving Across Midwest and Northeast US

A mass of clouds swirled across the United States’ East Coast as a storm system moved into the region, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said on Tuesday, May 2.

Satellite timelapse imagery captured over a three-day period shows stormy weather develop and sweep across parts of the upper Midwest and Appalachian region, the NOAA said.

Heavy rain could bring severe flooding to parts of the region through Friday, the National Weather Service said. Credit: NOAA via Storyful
