Satellite Imagery Shows Rapid Growth of Wildfires in British Columbia

Satellite imagery posted on July 1 by Colorado State University’s Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere shows the rapid growth of large wildfires in British Columbia in the days beforehand.

“Multiple pyrocumulonimbus plumes in British Columbia,” CIRA reported in text accompanying part of the footage.
