Satellite Captures Lightning as Storms Move Across Florida

Timelapse imagery from a weather satellite shows flashes of lightning moving across the state of Florida between April 24 and early April 28, as severe thunderstorms swept across the region.

Video posted by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere at Colorado State University shows the storms move across Florida over a four-day period from Tuesday evening to Friday morning.
