In an appearance on the Growing Up Italian podcast in 2023, the pair revealed that they first met online, when Vincent followed Samantha and reacted to one of her posts before quickly unfollowing her.

“I saw him months later at a football game in my town,” Samantha recalled. “Then I DM’d him and asked if he was at the game… he asked for my Snapchat and we would [message] all the time.”

The pair then FaceTimed each other throughout lockdown in March 2020 and recalled “wasting no time” before officially dating.

“We feel so blessed we were able to experience the love that we had,” Samantha reflected. “To share our [relationship] with you guys over the last three years has been a beautiful thing.”

The pair said they “do not regret any of it” and that “we’ve learned and [grown] together so much, now we just have to do our growing and learning separately.”
